About - Hemophilia Treatment Center of Nevada

The Hemophilia Treatment Center of Nevada (HTC) is a current program of the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation. It is the only Centers for Disease Control (CDC)/Federally recognized Hemophilia treatment center in the State of Nevada.
 
We are dedicated to reducing complications experienced by those affected by inherited bleeding disorders.
 
We provide comprehensive health management and medical services.
The HTC is part of a regional network of more than 130 treatment centers in the nation that specialize in providing individualized services to children and adults with inherited bleeding disorders.
 
The HTC receives federal funding to support the medial team that includes a physician, registered nurse coordinator, a Master’s prepared social worker, and physical therapist.
 
We provide family-centered, state of the art medical and psycho-social services, education and research with emphasis on Hemophilia and von Willebrand (VWD)disease.

The care provided by the HTC has preventative diagnostic and rehabilitative components. In fact, data from the CDC documents that care at HTC reduced the risk of death by 60 percent and hospitalization by 50 percent.
